Terms of Use for Games and Services by coldrock.games
Welcome to coldrock.games. The following Terms of Service govern the use of our games and the associated online services (backend API). By using our services, you agree to these terms.
Some of our games use the coldrock.games backend API to synchronize game progress or provide online features. Whether a game is connected to this API can be found in the info/about menu within the respective game. Games without this notice do not communicate with our backend.
Our API operates strictly according to the principle of data minimization. Each player is assigned a randomly generated, anonymized Account Token upon the first connection. This token is the only means of identification for our system.
As a matter of principle, no personal data (such as name, address, email address, or IP address stored on record) is saved in our backend system. However, the Account Token is mandatory for investigating the correct data record in case of support requests or bug tickets.

Confidentiality: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account Token. Any damage caused by third-party access due to a lack of care is entirely within your area of responsibility.
Online Connection: It is your responsibility to ensure a stable internet connection to https://www.coldrock.games, provided the game requires an API connection for certain features.
At this point, we explicitly refer to our Terms and Conditions (TAC), viewable at coldrock.games/legal/en/tac.php.
5.1 Processing: Financial transactions (In-App Purchases) are handled exclusively via the respective platform (e.g., Google Play Store, Steam, Epic Games Store). You do not conduct direct financial transactions with coldrock.games.
5.2 Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal: When purchasing digital content that is provided immediately in the game (e.g., game currencies, consumable items, cosmetic items), you expressly agree that the execution of the contract begins immediately after the purchase.
You acknowledge and confirm that your statutory right of withdrawal expires with the start of the provision. A refund for digital content already provided and available in the game is therefore excluded, unless the guidelines of the respective platform (store) provide for different regulations.
5.3 Support for Purchases: All refund requests must be directed to the platform on which the game was purchased. We have no direct access to the payment systems of the store operators.
The following data is transmitted to our backend for the technical provision of the game features and assigned to the respective Account Token:
Every player has the right to request a complete deletion of their data record. The best and most secure option is to use the Delete Account function found in the game's Settings menu (if the game communicates with our API and an Account Token was generated). Only this in-game method guarantees that your token is also wiped from your local device and your Google Play Games cloud save.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you delete your account within the app, you must completely close (kill) the app immediately afterwards. If you simply restart or reconnect, a new token will be generated automatically.
Manual Deletion via Email & Cloud Saves:
You can also request deletion via email to support [at] coldrock.games, but you MUST provide your Account Token.
If you have already uninstalled the app and lost your Account Token, your backend data is completely anonymized.
We cannot associate it with you, nor can we manually delete it.
Furthermore, if you uninstall the app without using the in-game deletion feature, your Account Token might remain backed up in your personal Google Play Games cloud save (which we cannot access). If you reinstall the game later, Google may restore your old token and reconnect you to the anonymized data. To completely prevent this and wipe your cloud save, you must manually delete the game's data within the settings of your "Google Play Games" app.
With the deletion, the following will be irrevocably removed:
Purchased DLCs and expansion packs are retained if the respective platform (e.g., Steam) supports this technically.
Permitted Use: You are expressly permitted to use the same account on several of your own end devices (e.g., mobile phone and PC). Use the account transfer feature in the game for this.
Prohibition of Sharing: Sharing an account between different individuals is strictly prohibited without exception.
Exclusive Use: An account can only interact actively with the API on one platform at the same time. Simultaneous logins on multiple devices can lead to synchronization errors and data loss. In this case, we cannot guarantee a complete restoration of the data.
